Privacy Policy
Last updated 18 October 2026. This policy covers this website and its live demo. It does not cover the command-line tool, which runs on your own machine with your own API key and sends nothing to us.
We collect user data
We collect user data when you use the live demo. Here is exactly what, and why.
- The text you type into the demo. The sample contact, angle, and touch type you choose, and the optional hook you write. We use it to build the draft you asked for. We do not store it in a database.
- Your IP address. We use it to rate limit the demo (a few drafts per hour per visitor) so the API key behind it is not drained. The limit counters are held in the server's memory and are reset when the server restarts.
- Server logs. The API logs which sample contact, angle, and touch type were drafted and how long it took. It does not log the hook you typed, the generated draft, or the API key. The hosting providers below keep their own standard request logs, which include your IP address and the pages you requested.
We do not use cookies, analytics scripts, or advertising trackers on this site.
We use artificial intelligence
The live demo uses a large language model to generate the draft. When you click Draft, the text you typed, the sample contact's details, and the demo voice profile are sent to Anthropic (the provider of the Claude API) to produce the draft. Anthropic processes that data under its own terms and privacy policy. Please do not type personal data about yourself or other people into the demo.
The demo also checks the text you type for language suggesting a personal crisis before anything is sent to the model. If it matches, no draft is generated and a message with support resources is shown instead.
Third parties that receive data
- Anthropic: receives the demo inputs described above to generate the draft.
- Railway: hosts the demo API. Receives your requests to the API, including your IP address, and keeps request logs.
- Vercel: hosts this static website. Receives your page requests, including your IP address, and keeps request logs.
- Google Fonts: this site loads its typefaces from Google's font service, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested.
- GitHub: hosts the source code. Visiting the repository links on this site takes you to GitHub, which has its own privacy policy.
What we do not do
- We do not send email. The demo returns a draft to your browser and stops.
- We do not sell or share your data for advertising.
- We do not build profiles of visitors.
Retention and deletion
Demo inputs are processed in memory and discarded once the draft is returned. Rate-limit counters live in server memory for at most a day. Hosting provider logs are kept according to each provider's own retention policy. If you want anything about you removed, or have any question about this policy, open an issue on the GitHub repository or contact the maintainer through the profile linked there.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
